This is my submission for the Masters of Mystery show this year. [link] They exist only to help raise funding for the fine art department but specifically for the grad students here in FIU who need as many resources as possible. So I went ahead and tried something different this time around... :]

There was a camera phone reference but I really didn't go by it since I'm not the kind to even go as far a "grahping". xD

I was totally going to do that... but then got caught up in my own endeavors... i.e. being REALLY LAZY and painting shit that'll probably never sell, but will make a dope-ass home in my apartment, hahahaha. I am a lameass.

But, enough about my dumb self... I REALLY LIKE THAT A LOT. (:

Man, I gotta lay off the caffeine. waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

This is beautiful. The color scheme is striking. What catches my eye is how the shapes are recognizable, but at the same time fade away and could be taken for negative space. The added texture is also a plus. I would definitely consider purchasing this and hanging it up on my wall. Great job Aysha! You've definitely progressed a lot since the last time i saw your work. It just keeps getting better.

this work is awesome so ambiguous and familiar at the same time... very strong work..
